First of all, you can relax, they didn't do a body cast of me for this.

Rainbow Girl and I have been working on a collaborative piece for this exhibit, and yesterday, finally, I got my part of it done and handed it off to her to complete the piece. It looks great so far, can't wait to see it when she's done.

Beginning September the first, the pieces will be displayed at the Dennis R Neill Equality Center Gallery
621 E 4th St., Tulsa, OK 74120. (918) 743-4297.

After that, there will be an exhibition at the Woodland Hills Mall on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Breast Impressions Breast Cancer Awareness Kick Off.

Full details:
"The day will include displays and staff from Northeastern Oklahoma Breast Cancer Organizations, Medical Facilities and Support Groups! A Panel of Medical experts in breast health will take questions from the audience and share the latest news in breast health care. In addition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. State and City Leaders from Northeastern Oklahoma will be present to show their Pink Ribbon support, and talk to constituents who come to the mall that day!
The Eastern Oklahoma Girl Scouts will be passing out pink ribbons to all Mall visitors and at 1 p.m. the 20 top entries of the "Breast Cancer Awareness" posters designed by the Girl Scouts will be judged and prizes awarded to the winning troop.
We hope that everyone in Tulsa and the surrounding communities will take advantage of this educational opportunity."

Anyway, it should be interesting, it's for a good cause, check it out.

Here's what our piece looks like so far:
(The other pictures I took have too much glare, but this one turned out ok).
