So, last night was the big event, but, let's not bullshit ourselves..."what in the world was Scott A. Osborn doing there?" you may ask. True, it's a not scene where you might normally find me, but, seriously, this event allowed me an opportunity to do some artwork, donate the piece to raise money for cancer survivors, hang out & mingle with some cool people, oh, and there's an open bar and incredible food, AND, I get to stare at painted breasts all evening?
How could I possibly decline to participate in such an event?

Breast Impressions, October 2009 Activities

A few months ago, Rainbow Girl (Lauren) and I worked on a collaborative project and submitted the piece for this show which took place Sunday evening. Our piece representedMother Nature Needs You and was entitled The Earth is My Light.

Also, Jyl Johnson represented Breast Impressions with her work entitled Mamdala; Todd Matetich's work represented Tulsa Oiler Hocky "Ice Girls", entitled Go, Fight, Win Against Breast Cancer; and Lisa Potter represented KTUL Channel 8 with her work entitled Shattered Image, Broken Heart. The link above has a photo album which shows all of the works represented but here are a few shots I got last night:

The buffet was by Escargot's Tulsa. Very yummy! I strategically placed as much as I could on my tiny little square plate.
I attended this event with Rainbow Girl (Lauren) and Zane Yost.
Music by Amanda Preslar, Brian Parton and Stephen Lee
Auctioneer Jay Litchfield with Judi Grove. If my calculations are right, the live auction raised over $10,000 last night for this organization.
Judi Grove spoke after the auction and sincerely thanked everyone for their participation.
Rainbow Girl with our piece afterwards.
